Old leaky roof in very bad condition removed. Steel framework fabricated on site to allow new roof to span the whole building without having to rest on unsuitable structures underneath. Roof joisted out to suit the new mixture of felt and polycarbonate. Large polycarbonate sheets installed, edged and joined where necessary. Felt roof boarded in 18mm ply and covered with two layers of torch on felt. Welted drips installed around edges and felt painted in aluminium paint to prolong life. New fascias and guttering installed. Also as part of this job wall were blocked up to new roof height where necessary and timber cladding installed where appropriate. Inside underneath felt roof plasterboarded and skimmed.
